BEING OLDER, WISER, HEALTHIER ON MY HEALTH JOURNEY

I thought about sharing my health related experiences when I was in my fifties. But somehow that decade got away from me! Now that I am more than halfway through my sixties, I think it is about time to share what I have learned and hope it can be useful to anyone seeking good health with as many natural remedies as possible. Traditional medicine definitely has its place. But right now, it isn't in my medicine cabinet. Vitamins, supplements, herbs and homeopathic remedies fill my cabinet and have helped me through numerous ailments and illnesses. I am not a doctor. But I am here to share what I have experienced, learned and practice in the hope that it might benefit someone else.
My life is filled with a husband, three children, four grandchildren and some wonderful friends. I am a retired graphic artist and continue to design and create in various art mediums.  A love of nature always provides me with inspiration. To me, a long life is desirable if I can remain healthy and actively pursue my interests. So, being a naturally healthy senior is part of my health journey.
During my postings, I will cover specific remedies that have worked for me, some "shouldn't be without" vitamins, etc.and any piece of valuable information I have learned about through reading or my favorite "radio doctor". Oh yes, you don't have to be older to relate to what I have to say. In fact, the sooner in life a person looks to alternative medicine, the better their quality of life will be.
